Introduction:
Human beings are part of nature. Basically it would serve us very well to study nature and the laws of nature and adapt these in our lives. But human beings have “taken over” nature and bend it to serve our purpose regardless of all the other life forms on the planet that over millions of years have developed a unique environment for life. Life as such is full of symbiotic relationships – species do not exist in a vacuum, but in a symbiotic cooperation and dependency on each other. Human beings are basically threatening our own existence by ignoring this delicate balance.
Take for example the well known equation: E = mc2.
Energy equals mass times velocity squared. Translated to human life this means that by increasing our mass (not weight – but knowledge and abilities) we can increase energy.
Think about it – and pay attention to the laws of nature.
The laws of thermodynamics are nature laws and as far aswe can tell, these laws are absolute. All things in the observableuniverse are affected by and obey the Laws of Thermodynamics.
The second law of thermodynamics basically says that anything that is not constantly adding new energy will go towards its death. That goes for an individual person, for a marriage/relationship, for a school, for a development project, for a business, for a nation… By nature we need constant expansion to stay alive.
For an individual this means to constantly learn, develop, and master new abilities… throughout life. And if not, you go towards your death. This does not necessary mean that you physically die, but you might go on living, just existing.
Understanding the second law of thermodynamics can be a powerful tool for you in your life. It means that you should constantly set new goals for yourself, constantly look at your work or project and set out for new input and energy.
When you observe yourself and those things around have come to a stand still, take a look at the input, it surely is in need of a boost of new energy.
Some people will think “I need to get this under control before I start something new” – that is however not true. By constantly setting higher demands the present challenges will fall in a new light and perspective and usually seem smaller than the new and bigger challenges. There is of course a balance in not setting goals and demands too high, but on the other hand, it is amazing what you can achieve when you decide to go for it together with your comrades.
