The task is to get to know the 4 fundamental forces that determines all interaction of matter in the universe.

Introduction:
As you will notice from the files it is still a work in progress to describe these 4 forces to the unanimous satisfaction of scientists. It is for some physicists the ambition of their lives to come to explain all 4 forces within the same explanatory framework.<br /> <br /> So far quantum mechanics has done fine in explaining behavior of matter on the smallest of levels, on quantum levels, invisible for us. But the laws so far explaining the behavior on this level do not fit to explain the behavior of matter on macro-level. And vice versa the laws for macro level matter do not fit quantum level matter.<br /> <br /> Some physicists, among which Albert Einstein strived and also the Danish Holger Bech Nielsen still strives to find the one unified explanatory framework, the so-called Theory of Everything. One candidate for that theory is the so-called String Theory, but it has not yet won general recognition. Others like Stephen Hawking have put that ambition to the side and go for a multiple-theory explanation of how the universe functions.<br /> <br /> So what you are about to study are explanations as good as they get, but still works in progress. You will study no less than 3 different explanations of the same, which will help you to extract the essentials of these explanations. Have fun, these forces are present everywhere in each their way.
