The task is to understand and handle the fact that your finest task as a teacher is to aliment the quest for learning in your students, and to teach them the tools for how to learn more.

Introduction:
“There is not enough time to learn everything at school.” All teachers feel extremely happy when they see their students have, and can use, their own tools in order to be able to study on their own. The school is always the beginning and is never the end.<br /> <br /> As such, teachers should feed the quest for knowledge in their students and teach them the tools they will need in order to learn more on their own. Some well known learning tools are:<br /> <br /> The life you live and learn from;<br /> Actions; in doing things you learn more;<br /> Experimenting;<br /> Investigating through observation, interviews and questions;<br /> Reading; when reading you can acquire new knowledge<br /> Writing; when writing you exercise the mind and learn more.<br /> <br /> As a teacher you may discover more tools; those presented above are just a few of them. If a student learns from you how to use such tools to learn more, he will be very successful and improve his possibilities to create a good life.<br /> <br /> In this task you will deepen your understanding of this aspect of school.<br /> Enjoy.<br /> <br /> <br />

<ol> <li>Read in the book “DNS in Africa” page 96;</li> <li>Read the file exposing the vision of the world 20 years from now technological and environmental wise;</li> <li>Write your definition of the most important tools for students to possess in order to make a good life for themselves and their families until old age;</li> <li>How will you teach them the tools? what pedagogical principles will be appropriate;</li> <li>Describe your new knowledge in a way of your choosing and present it to your teacher for comments and qualification.</li> </ol>
