Introduction:
Education always plays a central role in any ideological project, it is the key which shapes our society and how we perceive the values of our culture.

Henry A. Giroux is an American and Canadian scholar and cultural critic and with his “Critical Pedagogy” he concerns about the fact that today, many of the debates on education are, above all, methodological: since focusing exclusively on methods we ignore the fundamental question of education.
With his philosophy, he puts on the table the idea that an education that can be considered ideologically neutral does not exist, but rather that the notion of neutrality hides what education really involves.
“How do we reassert the primacy of a non-dogmatic, progressive politics by analysing how culture as a force for resistance is related to power, education, and agency? This project suggests the need to understand how culture shapes the everyday lives of people: how culture constitutes a defining principle for understanding how struggles over meaning, identity, social practices, and institutional machineries of power can be waged while inserting the pedagogical back into the political and expanding the pedagogical by recognizing the educational force of our whole social and cultural experience [as one] that actively and profoundly teaches.” ― Henry A. Giroux, On Critical Pedagogy

In this task we will know more about the pillar ideas of the Critical Pedagogy and we will try to find out the flaws of our educational system.
