The task is to read different fables and short stories to train your ability to understand the main content in a story, and do exercises connected to the texts.

Introduction:
Communication is essential for developing yourself, your business, project, and your work and it enables you to influence the world around you. When communicating with people in other parts of the world a common language is needed – English is the most widely used second language for people in Africa and other continents. Through a common language a flow of information and communication can take place – new viewpoints, ideas, solutions to situations you did not think about in the first place, comments on reports and plans – you name it can flow. A new world is opening up with a common language!<br />
Directive:
In this task you will train basic reading skills and try out pleasure reading in English. <ol> <li>Read the first 5 fables and 6 stories, follow the instructions to each part in the materials.</li> <li>Answer the question: what lesson do you learn from the story - from each text.</li> <li>Make a short summary in English of each of the fables and short stories.</li> <li>Correct what you have written.</li> <li>Send your work to the tutor. </li> </ol>
