The task is to consider the power of people as a force in the world today
Time:

Introduction:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Poem by Marianne Williamson

Williamson's poem reflects that as individuals we all have capacity and we all have power. And we have a duty to use our capacity and our power, and we should not be scared to do so.

The very fact that you are studying this task, wherever you are in the world, shows that you understand and agree with this point of view. You want to make a difference in the lives of many others. And you want to work with other people to do this. You have the motivation. Do you have the understanding of how to release your power and the power of others by being part of a movement?

By studying how others have done this, you will be able to understand this better.

That is the purpose of this task.
