The task is to learn the rules applying to regular verbs and to learn the irregular verbs by making your own booklet to help you learn them by heart.

The verbs are the words that tell what we do. They tell if we did it yesterday, do it<br /> now or will do it tomorrow. To know how to use the verbs correctly will make you<br /> much more confident in English. It may take some time and some rehearsal – this is<br /> one of the examples where REPETITION is of great value.<br /> <br /> The regular verbs are easy. The irregular verbs are those you will have to learn by<br /> heart to get them into your ear – so that you react every time you make a mistake!<br /> In this task you are going to learn the present and past tenses of regular and irregular<br /> verbs.<br /> <br /> Please follow the instructions and make sure your answers are correct before you<br /> send them to your teacher. Your teacher will like it.<br /> <br /> Enjoy!
Directive:
1. Read page 32 - 33 and again from 56 to 59 in the grammar book (from page 3 in the PDF file).<br /> 2. Make 25 sentences with irregular verbs from the box in past simple.<br /> 3. Write down the verbs you find difficult in your self made pocket dictionary<br /> and practice every day until you have learned them.<br /> 4. Send the sentences to your teacher for correction.<br /> <br /> Note: If you have internet access the homepage www.englishpage.com has many<br /> exercises and simple additional explanations
