The task is to identify the most important other pronouns which you know your pupils will need to learn, and formulate clear examples for them to understand how to use them.
Time:
hours
Introduction:
In real life, learners use pronouns from young age at home. No one tells them the
grammatical definition; it is amazing to see them freely using the pronouns when
speaking.
Most often, when they start school and teachers start telling them the rules of
grammar, they start getting confused in their heads. What the teacher teaches is class
work and not something the child should use in daily life. They fail to relate between
what they speak at home with what they are learning from the teacher.
Pronouns are words which, in grammar, substitute for a noun or noun phrase such
as: I, You, They, It, and so on. Learners need to practically develop proper
grammatical ideas relating to pronouns and improve on what they already know.
Examples are as follows:
• Personal pronoun- stands in place of nouns. E.g. I like dancing, she does not.
• Possessive pronouns- indicate possession or ownership. E.g. The clothes are
mine.
• Demonstrative pronoun- distinguishes the particular object or people from
other possible candidate. E.g. I will take these.
• Indefinite pronoun- refers to general categories of people or things. E.g.
People who smoke should quit now.
• Interrogative pronoun-asks which person or thing is meant. E.g. who did that?
In the file, you will practice using pronouns correctly and realise that it is a thing
you should use in your ordinary life, so, pass it on to your learners.
Directive:
1) Read the files about other important pronouns.
2) Open the files with exercises and do them.
3) Write your own easy- to - understand instructions for each pronoun and
explain it to one of your fellow students.
4) Conclude on where you stand now and decide your plan for here to become
skilled at using these pronouns.
5) Send your exercises, instruction and conclusion to your teacher for approval.

If you have Internet access, use the following links to solve this task:

Pronouns
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pronoun

What are the different types of pronouns?
http://esl.about.com/cs/beginner/f/f_pronouns.htm

English Language guide
http://www.englishlanguageguide.com/english/grammar/pronouns.asp

Else, use the PDF file from page 3.
