<p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">This task is directly and thoroughly assisted by the file from the book describing the training named “Fighting with the Poor” by One World University.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Here we will therefore only add a few comments.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">It is by no means a coincidence that the name of this training is “Fighting <em>with</em> the Poor” – and not “Fighting <em>for</em> the Poor” or “Fight Poverty”.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">In this training, the students learn what it means to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Poor and together take up the fight for better living conditions. The Poor is not a subject, but and active participant in this fight.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Poverty is an abstract phenomenon that you can study academically. The Poor is a human being affected by the structural violence that has brought on poverty for millions in its wake. It is a human being to team up with, shoulder to shoulder.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The success of the training is counted in actual results in changing the situation of the Poor – together with the Poor.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">This task is about considering the aims of this training, its content, methods, organization and historic origin.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Enjoy! </span></p>
