Your mental state is contagious. If you fell sad, angry or happy people around you will sense it and begin sharing your mood.<br /> <br /> While serious talk can be very important, so can a bit of humour. When you create a good mood through your speech and body language people you may be able to have other people laugh. Laughter is a healthy activity. It boosts the immune system, improves digestion and sharpens the mind of a tired student so thay he or she becomes more open to learning.
Directive:
<ol> <li>Read the file: “Examples of Jokes” for inspiration.</li> <li>Form groups and in the groups come up with 5 situations where a joke could bring a situation forward in a good way. Make jokes for the situations. They can also be jokes you heard before. To make people laugh, never laugh at your own jokes.</li> <li>Decide how to make jokes a part from your speaking habit, and do something about it every day in the present week.</li> <li>Think in English - and create your jokes in English.</li> <li>Formulate your decision in a one page statement and send it to your tutor</li> </ol>
