Introduction:
Power point is a computer program that allows you to make a presentation in pictures and texts. It can be made so that it can “stand by itself” or it can be made as an aid to a presentation you are giving in person.<br /> Mastering the techniques of making a good power point presentation that conveys an important message you have on your mind is very useful for the teacher.<br /> In this task you are going to make a power point presentation with English text, a presentation that can be used to inform many people on a topic.
Directive:
<ol> <li>Find a topic you believe has interest to people where you are. Decide what is the main message you want to give with the presentation, what is the politic of it and why do you believe this is a topic of interest.</li> <li>Make an outline of the presentation, what is the main message of the presentation, what is the content?</li> <li>Find background information such as facts to support it.</li> <li>Write the text, and since this is a media to show pictures, the text should be short and precise.</li> <li>Find pictures to support what you want to say and put pictures and text together.</li> <li>Check the spelling and grammar.</li> <li>Review the presentation, does it say what you intended?</li> <li>Present it to some who are English speakers/learners.</li> <li>Get their comments and add them when sending the presentation. Send it to the tutor.</li> </ol>
