The task is to make one or more posters about a topic where you want to influence many, which can be used in English education.

Introduction:
Modern posters are made on paper or cardboard and are used to convey important messages to many people passing by.<br /> <br /> The oldest rock art paintings are more than 30,000 years old. Some might have had religious importance but others were probably made to convey messages in some ways like posters are used today.<br /> In ancient Rome and China, posters were used for public announcements by government officials.<br /> When modern printing techniques were introduced 500 years ago it became used for poster for official announcements, for advertisements and for political agitation.<br /> <br /> Today posters are used for the same purposes as well as in education and even as an artform.<br /> In this task you will make your own hand made poster(s) with texts in the English language.
Directive:
<ol> <li>When making a poster the headline has to catch attention. Play with different possibilities.</li> <li>The main message should be short and entail needed information.</li> <li>A picture or drawing usually supports the message and makes it more visible. The text should be in correct English.</li> <li>Get comments from a group a group of English speakers/learners.</li> <li>Send the poster and notes (in English) about the comments to the tutor.</li> </ol>
