<p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The art of getting interesting information in an investigation lies in your curiosity and sincere interest in the people and the topics of your investigation.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">You want to make an investigation about what ordinary people expect of the future, because you yourself as an ordinary person are much occupied with the big issues of our time and how to create a future for We the People.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">It is not about being a passive receiver of answers to your questions, but also to share yourself, suggest new angles of looking at how people can organize themselves making their own visions and dreams come through. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Some people have a pretty good idea about how they imagine their future to be, but a lot of people are also worried about where things are heading and have no real concept of how they can influence matters.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">When preparing your questions it is good to debate each question and to be prepared to dig deeper into the answers you get. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Give some food for thought to each person you interview and leave them pondering about their own role in life.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">If several of your team members do this task at the same time, you can interview many people and get a better understanding of what ordinary people think about the future.</span></p>
Directive:
This task is scheduled for 6 hours.<br /> <ol> <li>Prepare a number of questions to pose to people about the future.</li> <li>Discuss your questions in order to improve them and determine what you want people to consider, and which kind of questions to pose in order to be likely to get informative answers.</li> <li>Carry out interviews with at least 5 different people.</li> <li>Write a short report where you include quotations from the interviewed and your conclusion on the responses you have received.</li> <li>Read and discuss your report and send it to your teacher.</li> </ol> Files:<br /> F1.
