<ol> <li>Teacher course about Apartheid – how it functioned, who supported it, the struggle waged against it and how Apartheid was finally abolished</li> <li>Watch 1 of the following films: ‘Cry Freedom’ and ‘Sarafina’</li> <li>Read ‘Democracy Born in Chains: South Africa’s Constricted Freedom’ in small groups and discuss in which ways The Poor succeeded, in which ways their hopes of The Freedom Charter were crushed and whether, in your opinion, Apartheid ended. </li> <li>Write a summary on points 1-3 where you include your opinions about how/if South Africa have developed according to The Poor in that country</li> <li>Send to the teacher</li> </ol>
