Introduction:
To be able to communicate in another language takes efforts, you have to learn new words, write them, and pronounce them. You have to learn how to put the words together so they make sense and others can understand what you are trying to say. You have to learn grammar, how to construct sentences, and be able to express yourself in present time as well as in passed time. You have to know how words are spelled correctly. You have to expand your vocabulary so you can communicate about various topics so you are able to talk about other things than just the weather. You have to be able to elaborate on the language, to find a way to express yourself that is accurate to people you are communicating with. When you are writing an email to a friend in another part of the world you can choose words and expressions that are different from when you write a report to an international donor about how the program is developing at your school. When you write a poem you choose other words or other ways to put the words together than when you write an application to English-speakers for support to your program.
You have to put efforts into being able to find the “right tone” in a communication. It does not come by itself. It comes from practice, it comes from doing mistakes and learning from those. It comes from writing, re-writing, re-re-writing… So get ready to come in “the learning-more-English-mode”. You will gain much from this, and other people, close by or on distance will also gain – it is a win-win situation for all parts!

In this task you will work with exercises in how to write English.
Even when you are not working with written texts it is good training to write because you have time to consider, to investigate, to correct until in the end the text is well written.
