The task is to read different traditional African folk tales to train your ability to understand the main content and message of a story.

Introduction:
In this task you will read a number of traditional African Folk Tales. They all have a message or a point. So try to read them and disregard words you do not understand to see if you get the main message.<br /> <br /> Enjoy!
Directive:
This task is scheduled for 6 hours. <ol> <li>Read the two traditional African folk tales:</li> </ol> a. The Curse of the Chameleon. (1 hour) <br /> b. The Chief who was no fool. (1 hour)<br /> <br /> 2. Write ½ a page about each of the messages in the two stories and send to your teacher. (1 hour)Organize your team members to perform one of the folk tales as a theater play for a café evening at your school.<br /> 3. Make sure to invite your teacher! (3 hours).
