<p><span style="font-size:14pt">Over the past year, we have seen prices at the gas stations rising and falling – and generally being lower than a few years ago. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">At the same time, we have become aware that oil is a limited resource on the planet and that we will eventually run out of oil – probably already during this century, which means the future belong to other kinds of energy. This would from pure logic mean steadily increasing prices as the commodity become more and more scarce, right? So why are the prices rising and fall? </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">In this task, you will try to understand what is going on. Who are behind the rise and fall in oil prices and what is at stake here?</span></p>
