<p>At OWC we find it of importance to stay updated on what is happening around us in order to constantly add to our understanding of the forces shaping the world – to gain new knowledge as well as inspiration.</p> <p>In this task you will choose a current issue and make research about it.</p> <p>Maybe you would like to research current conflict to understand what it is all about. Maybe you have come across new inventions, which you would like to explore the benefit of. Maybe you want to know more about specific products and their advantages and disadvantages. Maybe you would like to research the long term effects of a current trend.</p> <p>The possibilities are many and there are no restrictions to your choice.</p> <p>Good luck!</p>

This task is scheduled for 5 hours.<br /> <ol> <li>Decide a current issue you want to research.</li> <li>Do your research – using the Internet, books, talking to people with knowledge about the issue.</li> <li>Prepare a 10-15-minutes presentation for the team, a morning course or the Common Meeting.</li> <li>Get feed-back on your presentation.</li> <li>Send the presentation and the feed-back to your teacher.</li> </ol>
