The task is to learn how the body’s systems work, what are the organs, functions and relations, and why is it important for you to know and teach about this subject.
Time:
hours
Introduction:

Human beings are arguably the most complex organisms on this planet. Imagine billions of microscopic parts, each with its own identity, working together in an organized manner for the benefit of the total being. The human body is a single structure but it is made up of billions of smaller structures of four major kinds: cells, tissues, organs and systems.

Systems are the most complex of the component units of the human body. A system is an organization of varying numbers and kinds of organs so arranged that together they can perform complex functions for the body. The ten major systems that compose the human body are: Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Endocrine, Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, and Reproductive. The body systems are responsible for each and every one of the functions of our body. All are important and none can work without the other. Although we study the body dividing it into systems, organs, cells and tissues we need to take a holistic view and analyze the functions of each system relative to the other.

By understanding the body systems you can see if you are looking after yourself by eating good organic food, drinking enough water, eating right for you, getting enough rest, and getting enough movement.

This already complicated system of systems (the body) can become even more complicated when we look at it closely, but we need to analyze each part and function to take better care of it, and to know the symptoms of common diseases.
