The task is to ponder over your own future and design a series of future bodies for it.

Introduction:
During the first 12 months of the Fighting with The Poor program you have experienced many examples of what people can achieve when being collectively organized. The big issues and challenges of our time can only be taken on through a collective effort.<br /> Issues like <em>poverty</em> and <em>global warming and climate change </em>are here as a result of the way the present global capitalist system works and there is no way to fundamentally change this within this same system. We cannot change the system just like that, but we can form future bodies within which we design a different future.<br /> This is an exercise in imagination. The method is: Contemplate – Conclude – Create.<br /> Contemplate were you are now, what aspirations you have with your life?<br /> Conclude on what is next? And finally create a series of future bodies for this.<br />
Directive:
<ol> <li>Read the text about Future Bodies.<br /> </li> <li>Describe how your experiences the last year and your work with The Poor influence your decisions for your future and how it has changed your way of thinking on these matters.<br /> </li> <li>Answer the question:<br /> Will I continue working together with The Poor, and in which form and commitment?</li> </ol> <ol> <li>Brainstorm and write a long list with key words for your future.<br /> </li> <li>Discuss your list with a team member.<br /> </li> <li>Write how you see your future.<br /> </li> <li>Decide 3-10 headlines for Future Bodies leading you to this future.<br /> </li> <li>Design your Future Bodies.</li> </ol> <br /> Your answers in this task are presented at the People’s Exam.<br />
