To prevent is better than to cure. It is good to know how to prevent people from getting sick with simple means.

Introduction:
Cleanliness is the magic word in preventing sicknesses. Wherever we go we have to take care that we are in a clean environment. It takes awareness. We need to be aware of our personal cleanliness, our Hygiene, as well as public cleanliness and sanitation.<br /> <br /> In many situations you can see that people take care about their own sanitation, in and outside of their own house and surroundings. When you come to public places, however, the sanitation level drops significantly. People are at a greater risk of getting diseases even when their personal hygiene is on a proper level.<br /> <br /> It takes a campaign and education to make people understand, both in urban and rural places, why it is important to look further than only your front yard.<br />
Directive:
This task is scheduled for 4 hours.<br /> <ol> <li>Read the file: Prevention: How to avoid many sicknesses; from David Werner’s book “Where there is no Doctor”.</li> <li>Make a campaign – plan an action you can do at your project to create awareness and educate people about cleanliness to prevent sicknesses. Find out what is possible at your project and implement it when you are there.</li> </ol> Send what you have understood to your teacher together with the campaign you planned.
