Wording:

Time:
hours
Introduction:
It matters a great deal what we look at every day and what we surround ourselves with. Our surroundings should be beautiful and inspiring so to extract our inner beauty and inspiration.
This can of course be done in many different ways – interior designers can tell you a lot about that.
Class rooms could have speaking walls – so when you or anyone else enter you get inspired and informed about what is going on and what are the main issues on the agenda right now.
Class rooms could also have walls that simply express beauty and inspire concentration and a good atmosphere.
When walking through your school, what atmosphere do the walls inspire in the different rooms with its posters, wall hangings, paintings, boards, photos etc?
It is worthwhile taking a look and thinking about how they can be improved.
Often you get used to the walls around you and might even stop noticing what is on them and they stop “speaking” to you.
Use your artistic skills and flare of ethics to suggest how to improve the walls at the school.
Directive:

Use the introduction to get started. Select the walls in one or more rooms at the school and come up with a suggestion of how to improve them.

You can search around on the Internet or in books and magazines to get inspiration.

Present your suggestion along with argumentation to your team mates and the teachers and discuss until you have a consensus.

Implement your suggestion either by yourself or organize an action at the school, for example during a building weekend.
