The task is to chose an artist with a message and make a presentation about his/her work and argue why this artist’s message is relevant.

Introduction:
Artists usually become artists because they have something they wish to express and they find a form whereby they can get their message through; whether it is through photographs, paintings, drawings, dance, sculptures, music, poems, design, architecture….<br /> Thousand of artists around the world have used their artistic skills to support a variety of causes – speaking up against war, hunger, exploitation, corruption, global warming or HIV/AIDS.<br /> Other artists are occupied with creating things of beauty and some wish to provoke people with their art.<br /> You sure have your favourite artists and in this task you will share with others why you like a specific artist and his/her work.<br />
Directive:
<ol> <li>Consider which artist you would like to present.</li> <li>Prepare how to present the artist and his/her work to your team. Telling about the artist’s life and demonstrating his/her work and argue why this artist’s message is relevant.</li> <li>Give the presentation – 15-20 min - at a café night at the school. You can encourage your team mates also to give presentations about their favourite artists to make a cultural evening out of it.</li> <li>Send the presentation or pictures of you giving the presentation to you teacher.</li> </ol>
