The experience consists of practicing how you can treat children as small human beings, through presentations in the Primary School, in ''Bringing It to the Public''.
Time:
hours
Introduction:
You and your colleagues have already presented several products in your
community, collected during the travel through Africa. You had several audiences
for your presentations. Each presentation was well prepared according to the
location and the audience it was directed to. Therefore, there isn’t much new in this
experience in terms of organizing the presentation. The key is to have in mind that
this experience is intended to reflect on how you can make sure that you treat
children with respect as small human beings, when presenting to them.

What really makes it different in this experience is the ability to constantly motivate
and inspire primary school children to become responsible for their lives today and
reflect on their near future.

Remember that children are not thinking of tomorrow but of today and now!
Therefore, the development of a critical and creative spirit is very necessary for them
to control their current situation and develop skills for life.

In order for us to have a society with a developed and brilliant mind, it is necessary
that the children are prepared to understand and participate in the day-to-day
demands and for that they need an adequate preparation.

Everything described about this experience is to draw your attention towards your
work as a teacher. Now, once again, you will train your skills as a teacher, since you
will be developing what a teacher does, in practice, with their pupils.

Remember!

Children are human beings and citizens promoters of change. So, take the
experiences that you have acquired to them. This will inspire them and make them
develop an open mind towards knowing another world, through the information that
you take to them. That's what you should awaken in the children during the actions
of Bringing It to the Public, in the primary schools.

We hope that with this experience you will develop further how you can count on
the children in your audience as small human beings, taking their comments and
questions seriously and giving them explanations to the phenomena of the world that
they can use immediately.

Enjoy!
Directive:
1. After reading the introduction, choose one of your presentations in Bringing It
to the Public as an example of how to talk to children as small human beings.

2. Make the presentation and take note of how the children react to being treated
with proper respect.

3. Write your considerations and conclusion and share it in your Core Group.
