Introduction:

You have had many discussions on what to submit during Hitting the Hearts. 
This experience is an opportunity for you to take concrete steps to start with 
the presentations. Now it is time to decide which messages you will convey. 
This isn&rsquo;t merely a school exercise; this is really to decide what you will do in 
practice. 
 
But, thinking more deeply, we could ask: &#39;&#39;Why deciding in advance the 
messages to convey?&#39;&#39;Sounds simple to answer. You could say: &#39;&#39;It&#39;s best to 
plan and prepare.&#39;&#39; But the importance goes beyond that. It is a way of 
thinking about what we do and in what direction we want to go. 
 
Hitting the Hearts is an important activity both for you as a student, 
prospective teacher, and for the public, who also expects to get something 
from you which can inspire, encourage and help them in their struggles for 
development and better living conditions. This means that Hitting the Hearts 
is very influential and greatly contributes to the image of DNS among 
communities, local and national. 
 
This demands that you and your colleagues make serious decisions about each 
message that you want to convey to the people. You will not be doing 
amusing sessions, like the clowns shows. You will be educating the public. 
 
So, you need to prepare everything and anticipate the outcome. And this is 
only possible by deciding in advance the messages to transmit during Hitting 
the Hearts. 
 
Here lies another challenge, to make a nice surprise to the people. Why do we 
say surprise? Because people don&rsquo;t know exactly what you will bring. You 
have it all veiled, as if everything was covered by a large cloth. People expect 
something to come along with you and their expectation becomes greater. 
 
Your presentations disclose it, i.e. your presentations remove your cloth and 
let people see what you bring. What is their reaction? 
 
Hence, you have the responsibility to make very serious decisions about the 
messages to convey. You don&rsquo;t need special standards or criteria, you need to 
feel the life you have experienced while traveling throughout Africa and tell it 
to others through clear messages. 
 
This is good opportunity to decide it together with your colleagues.

This experience is based on the products of the courses in this subject, the 
common lists:

 ways to convey messages and 
 audience. 
&nbsp;</div>
These lists are now exhibited in the core group room and anyone can see 
them. 
 
1. Resolve, within the micro-group, the subjects and messages that you 
would like to convey during Hitting the Hearts. Choose from the common 
list. 
 
2. Develop a concrete plan of all the presentations to make during Hitting the 
Hearts. For each presentation, pay attention to the following:

<div style="margin-left: 40px;"> The subject / topic or course. 
 Who to convey it to? &ndash; Decide the type of audience. 
 When? 
 How? &ndash; Lecture, exhibition, street theater, theater, songs in an event, 
door to door, etc. 
 The materials. 
 Who will present it &ndash; the whole core group, the micro-groups, or the 
individuals? 
 Evaluation &ndash; how you will assess whether the goals have been 
achieved.</div>
 
3. Display your plan in a large poster, in the classroom and invite everyone, 
teachers and colleagues from other nuclear groups to take a look and 
comment.

<div style="margin-left: 40px;"> Record all the remarks in order to improve what you think should be improved.</div>
 
4. Prepare the poster of the final version of &amp;quot;Messages to be transmitted 
during Hitting the Hearts&rdquo; and put it in the classroom for consultation and 
evaluation. Whenever an activity is implemented, indicate it by marking 
OK.
