This experience is to develop the ability to constantly motivate the audience, thrilling them during the presentations in ''Bringing It to the Public.''
Time:
hours
Introduction:
How can we keep the audience motivated during the presentations?
We ask this question because we are aware that the real motivation of the public
already exists. This motivation is what makes people focus and listen to your
presentation.

If a person leaves his affairs to watch your presentation, it is because he is confident
that there is something new and good to learn; this is what constitutes the initial
motivation. It is the expectation of acquiring new knowledge that motivates the
person. That is why, right from the introduction of its subject, the person is focused
to understand whether what they will hear will meet their expectations. This moment
is very crucial for the success or failure of your presentation.

During the presentation, the person will give more or less attention, depending on
how the issue is being addressed. Regardless of the fact that the person already
knows the subject or not, the way it is addressed, the specific examples, the new
suggestions and ideas are a key factor to keep people focused and motivated to
actively participate in the presentation of your message.

You are in the period of Bringing It to the Public. The audience wants to hear and
grasp your message. How can you ensure this?

Maybe you should start with a deep preparation and rehearsal of the presentation
that you will make. Here are some tips:

To make a show, which will attract the audience, it is better to know in advance the
needs of your audience and, based on that, make the selection of its content. Practice
and rehearse your speech or presentation with your colleagues to gain more courage
to face the audience.

When you are presenting something in front of an audience, you will be performing
as an actor, therefore, be solemn if your topic is serious. Assess the level of
understanding and appreciation of the audience; if they are really enjoying it or
paying attention to your speech. Present the desired image to your audience; look
nice, enthusiastic, confident, and calm. Speak with pauses, stating clearly the issues
and express a proper feeling regarding your topic. Vary the tone of your voice and
dramatize if necessary, speaking with conviction, showing that you completely
believe in everything you're saying. Maintain sincere eye contact with your audience
and be dynamic in the continuous motivation of your presentation.

Remember that the ability to be motivated and to motivate people during
presentations is developed with practice. It is not something that you learn from
books. When your mood is high, you'll thrill the audience.

Good work.
Directive:
1. After reading the introduction, read the file and gather with the Core Group to
discuss this issue: How to thrill the audience?

a) Do a brainstorm on how to achieve this goal.
b) One member should record all the ideas on the blackboard or in a poster.
c) Make a summary of the different actions that you have planned to achieve
the goal of “Thrilling your audience”.

2. During the preparation of your presentations, have in mind the ideas that you
have gathered to make a vibrant presentation.

3. Place in your classroom the poster that you have produced: “Summary of the
main ideas to have in mind in order to thrill the audience”.
