The task is to design and produce a graphic text to publish in a weekly or fortnightly newspaper, book or in a larger publication.

Introduction:
When we go down the streets and avenues of the large cities, we find groups of<br /> people enchanted by the pages of newspapers, magazines and other publications.<br /> They are attracted by the headlines of these publications.<br /> <br /> What is the reason for the spontaneous, inconsistent and automatic behaviour of<br /> these people? The answer is without a doubt the graphic text printed on the pages of<br /> the newspapers, magazines and posters. Hence, it is the visual elements of a book,<br /> newspaper, poster, or newspaper that attract people. The stories are presented<br /> graphically on the front page of the newspaper or magazine. Because of the strength<br /> of the graphic message, it is difficult for us to look at the newspaper without reading<br /> the words. But, if we don’t know the language being used, it is the only possibility<br /> we have.<br /> <br /> On this task you will be busy designing and producing a graphic arrangement. What<br /> you need on this task is creativity and high-quality design. You can produce a<br /> graphic arrangement for a business card, invitation, poster, leaflet, brochure, menu<br /> and much more.<br /> <br /> To do so, you should consider the fact that a graphic arrangement unites concepts of<br /> aesthetics, visual perception and identification of the graphic message. The graphic<br /> arrangement should not be underestimated since it is a fundamental element of<br /> reader persuasion.<br /> <br /> You may think that this is the job of journalists. But if you think this, then you are<br /> mistaken. Remember that you have a whole gamut of information, news and<br /> learning from your four months travel that you need to share. How are you going to<br /> display this information in a graphic arrangement? Images by way of photos,<br /> illustrations, drawings and graphics are fundamental to explaining the information<br /> better, helping the reader to understand and interpret the facts.<br /> <br /> <strong>Good luck.</strong>

The task is set for 3 hours, but it can be adjusted to the estimation of time needed to prepare a particular product.<br /> <br /> 1. Look for some graphic arrangements published by other institutions for<br /> inspiration.<br /> <br /> 2. Decide on the content that you would like to include in your graphic<br /> arrangement.<br /> <br /> 3. Decide on the publication where the graphic arrangement will be published. This<br /> could be a weekly or fortnightly newspaper, book or other publication.<br /> <br /> 4. Make a realistic plan for carrying out this task and decide how long it will take in<br /> hours.<br /> <br /> 5. Design and produce the graphic arrangement.<br /> <br /> 6. Present the graphic arrangement to other groups or people for evaluation.<br /> <br /> 7. Finish the arrangement and improve the quality if necessary.<br /> <br /> 8. Put the graphic arrangement in the publication you have decided on and<br /> distribute it.
