The task is to prepare and put on an exhibition in a public place on a theme of your choice for Bringing it to the Public.
Time:
hours
Introduction:
During your time at the OWU, you were involved in many different
exhibitions, some which you put on and some which your fellow students
put on. On this period, you are developing many activities that have the aim
of passing on what you experienced during the previous period.

Now, the time has come for you to become a mobile workshop. People want
to learn from your exhibitions. You have a lot of things to exhibit.

Where are you going to do this exhibition? You might think of primary or
secondary schools, markets, water wells, squares, community centres,
hospitals and other venues. This all depends on the content.

Remember that an exhibition should be something beautiful and
harmonious, which passes on knowledge. Reflect on the skills that you have
gained from your work on the various tasks of this period and other periods
(comic strip texts, photographs with supporting text, objects that you gave
made or collected from a particular society that contains information,
simple, clear language for explaining content, etc.).

These skills should carry on being used to design this exhibition, so that you
pass on knowledge without needing lengthy verbal explanations. Think
about the exhibition that you are going to put on.

You already have the content, or perhaps even the materials, to do this.
Think about the simplest way that you can present this, taking into account
the environment where you will put on the exhibition.

We hope that on this task you will greatly improve the skills of “Bringing it
to the Public” through a well-designed exhibition of your own initiative.

Good luck!
Directive:
Part I

1. Choose the content that you want to use in your exhibition from the
materials gathered in the previous period.

2. Identify the resources that you need for the exhibition.

3. Get the exhibition ready (posters with pictures and clear writing, the look
and sequence of the message of your exhibition).

Part II

1. Visit the places where you will put on the exhibition and make contact
with the people responsible for these places.

2. Present your exhibition to the bus group for feedback.

Part III

1. Put on your exhibitions according to what you have planned.

2. Meet up and write a summary of the results of the exhibitions and send
this to your teacher.

3. Keep the material that you used in the library for frequent future use.
