The task is to consider how liberation of the individual depends on the coherence between conception and action in the learning process

Introduction:
The human mind has a fantastic capacity of building concepts, of imagining things
far away, in the past or in the future – even things that never were and probably
never will be. The concepts we use gain a new dimension and an added power when
we know from reality that they work, and how they feel, look and smell. It is a
unique quality of the human species that we can imagine something we wish to do
and then do it.

Often, though, we are restricted by economic factors, social taboos, the lack of
friends who will join us, or by our own personal fear. Overcoming such factors,
bringing to life concepts and carrying out bold plans, is liberating both for the
individual person, for the community and for the world where the new is born.
Directive:
1. Read “Liberation stemming from coherence between conception and action”
page 37-39 in The Pedagogical Report DRH 1970.

2. Explain how the DNS program promotes coherence between conception and
action in the learning process of the DNS student. Write at least two pages.

3. Read and discuss your written work with two of your colleagues at the school
and get their comments.

4. Send your written work to your tutor.
