The task is to understand movement and change as the natural state of affairs not only in the universe but also in humanity, in yourself, your students and your fellow human beings.
Time:
hours
Introduction:
Movement and change permeates the universe and every single human being and
animal too. To be YOU requires 1.000.000.000 microbiological processes going on
in you – not annually, but second-ly. These processes are required for you to live
and be active. In this sense every human being is on the move even while at sleep.

One day is never like the next day. Weather is what we call the constant changes in
the atmosphere. Even the plants are growing by the second and if you watched
them over time with some special instrument getting very close you would
recognize that also the tree is on the move. Also the dust and disorder of things are
on the move and will settle on your things and yourself if you do not dust it off,
wash it, clean it. So moving can be both forward and backward, towards disorder or
towards order, towards standstill or progressing. Moving includes you, your
personal development, the school and all its environment, the pupils, the wider
community, the nation, the global community.

It is worth the while to study this phenomenon of being on the move. As well as
how it is perceived. Some people perceive their teenage daughters being on the
move as rebellion. The daughter’s development has led to independent opinions
and when she one day declares that she simply will not accept the proposed
husband for her and not only that - she intends not to marry at all – then anti-
rebellion breaks lose, all hell breaks lose in the normally tranquile home, because
tradition has been attacked by rebellion. Maybe the family prevails with its
demands. Maybe the daughter. It is all movement and change, in a certain direction
or counter-acting that direction.

The teacher wants to introduce the zero in the class. All brains are alert to the
situation, but far from all are ready to listen and expecting something good. Many
recognize that something sinister, dark and after all likelihood very difficult or even
impossible is about to come up. The whole classroom and all its brains are for sure
in movement, but not without the good teacher’s help in the same direction towards
the wonderful zeros.

The teacher is on the constant move to become a better teacher, to make school
better. A couple of colleagues are moving along. Other colleagues have raised the
yellow warning flag against too many initiatives and forcing other teachers against
their will to work overtime and too hard.

The teacher must be able able to move herself, her pupils, her colleagues, the
community and through that Mankind.
Directive:
1. Study the file.

2. Reply to the questions in the file and through your replies you consider the great
issue of you and Mankind on the move.

3. You end up defining how you are on the move now and list 3 examples of
yourself being on the move in recent time.

4. You show your work to your tutor for approval.
