The task is to get a whiff of “Another Kind of School” by reading all 250 learning elements of the programme and to pay special attention to the chosen three of them.

Introduction:
In this task, you will have to face 250 learning elements.<br /> <br /> During the three years of the training, you are going to get a personal relationship to<br /> each of the elements. This is not a pure theory. If you don’t believe us, put a “v”<br /> whenever you experience one. Let them unfold, let yourself own them, and accomplish<br /> these three years with 250 pictures, 250 smells, 250 sounds, 250 names and 250<br /> feelings.<br /> <br /> It might seem overwhelming, but reading all 250 gives you the possibility to paint a<br /> whole long tapestry of Another Kind of School. Zooming in on three of them brings the<br /> three years even closer to you.<br /> <br /> The more you put into it, the better your outcome.<br /> <br /> These matters from the list of learning elements obviously are not subjects in a<br /> curriculum. But, they matter anyway. They promote changes in your understanding of<br /> your fellow human beings and they challenge changes in your ways of understanding<br /> both the life and the world.<br /> <br /> <strong>Enjoy!</strong>
Directive:
1. Read the list of learning elements from DNS-Tvind Pedagogy book (F1). [15 minutes]<br /> <br /> 2. Choose three elements of your special interest. You can look at them from different<br /> angles:<br /> <div style="margin-left: 40px;"><em>“What I expect from this element.”<br /> <br /> “Training this element will make an excellent Another Kind of Teacher.”<br /> <br /> “That’s something I should definitely improve during the programme.”<br /> etc., or simply<br /> <br /> “It just feels right to choose this one.”</em> [5 minutes]<br /> </div> 3. Discuss each other’s choices in a small group. [20 minutes]<br /> <br /> 4. Write down your considerations about your chosen elements. [20 minutes]<br /> <br /> 5. Send the considerations from the point 4 to your tutor for evaluation.
