Introduction:
Have you ever been told by your mother to straighten up or not to slouch in the chair?<br /> Well, both you and your mother probably to not know why this is important, but take<br /> it more as “good behavior” – and who wants to have that?<br /> <br /> Keeping a good posture is about protecting your health and wellbeing in the long run.<br /> By keeping a good posture, you also prevent a lot of potential damages to your body<br /> – back pain, pain in shoulders and neck, weight gain, bad digestion and a lot more.<br /> Again, as we have touched in several tasks in life style sustainability, we are at<br /> danger with our modern life style. We need to move more, be more physical active,<br /> sleep well, eat right, use our muscles and much more.<br /> <br /> Keeping a good posture is one of the things we need to do.<br /> <br /> The healing power of the body can only do so much – and medical science as well –<br /> WE need to do our part and take charge of our bodies.<br /> <br /> And keeping a good posture is not that hard – once you understand why – you can<br /> quickly develop new habits, feel much better and last much longer.

1. Read the file: “Top 10 posture mistakes”, by Ben Greenfield (fitness expert)<br /> from his book “Beyond Training”, 2014.<br /> <br /> 2. Read the file: “Straighten your posture”, by Miranda Esmonde-White from her<br /> book “Aging Backward”, 2014.<br /> <br /> 3. Analyse the posture mistakes you do and decide what steps you will take to<br /> improve it. Make sure to take decisions you actually plan to you. This is not<br /> about “torturing” yourself, but improving your health.<br /> <br /> 4. Organize a health campaign in the team to improve everyone’s posture – for<br /> example over one month.<br /> <br /> 5. Conclude at the end of the campaign and send the conclusion to your teacher.
